General Introduction

Gaseous suppression systems have a different feature among suppression systems. Immediately after the suppression operation, it is possible to continue to use the equipment in the protected volumes due to the fact that the suppression agent does not leave traces. Gaseous suppression systems are preferred, especially in the areas where electronic systems are located in the magnetic media, since the suppression agent does not cause any damage. HFC group gas suppression systems, Novec 1230, Inert (IG01 – IG541 – IG55 – IG100) and CO2 systems are the most commonly used ones.

Quality & Standards

Our test engineers perform leak tests before application via their own test equipment (Fire Safety Technology) according to NFPA 2001 rules. Our staff is certified.

VdS and / or UL approved software is used at design and hydraulic calculations of gas suppression systems.

All systems and parts imported are FM approved and UL listed. The cylinders are TPED (EN 13322-1) approved, our collector manufacturing and pipe fitting workmanship are CE certified.

Assemblies are made by our certified staff. Design, assembly and tests are done according to ISO 15004 and NFPA 2001 rules.

Maintenance and periodic inspections are carried out in accordance with the “NFPA 25” and “NFPA Test and Maintenance Inspection” rules.

HFC-227ea / FM-200® Suppression System

HFC-227ea / FM-200 ® suppression systems; which are designed, sold, assembled and maintained by us, are imported from US company as FM approved & UL listed. They are under pressures of 25 bars. If the system pressure is requested at 42 bars, it can be procured from European companies, which we are representative of, as UL or GL approved.
If your projects require certificates of VdS, TPED, CE and/or GOST; systems are delivered with RSS (Refleks Suppression System) branded products manufactured by us.

The maintenance is done according to NFPA 25 and “NFPA Test And Maintenance, Inspection” document. Tests are done according to NFPA 2001, ISO 15004 (14520).

Usage Areas Of HFC-227ea / FM-200® System

  • In areas where all fire loads of (A), (B), (C) and (E) classes,
  • In all energized areas and electronic systems,
  • Museum, historical buildings, archive fire- suppression systems,
  • At industrial plants, processes, filters, silos and laboratories,
  • At military facilities and communication systems,
  • On armored vehicles and ships.

HFC-125 Suppression System

HFC-125 suppression systems designed, sold, assembled and maintained by our company are imported as FM approved and UL listed and are under pressures of 25 bars. If pressures of 42 bars are requested, products are supplied and delivered as UL Listed and assembled.

If your projects require certificates of VdS, TPED, CE and / or GOST; systems will be delivered with RSS (Refleks Suppression System) branded products manufactured by our company.

The HFC-125 suppression system can only be activated with cylinder and nozzle changes without changing pipes of available HALON 1301 system. In addition, HFC-125 suppression system can be considered as a good alternative if height of a protected volume is high and two-ply nozzle installation is not preferred a0t HFC-227ea / FM-200® suppression systems.

CO2 Suppression System

The CO2 (Carbon Dioxide) system; which is designed, sold, assembled and maintained by our company; is imported as UL listed.

If your projects require certificates of TPED, CE and / or GOST, systems will be delivered with RSS (Refleks Suppression System) branded products manufactured by our company.

CO2 suppression system contains 67 or 50 liters cylinders, which are selected at appropriate concentrations according to fire loads, below pressures of 60 bars. CO2 suppression system has the capability of being used both point and locally as well as designing according to whole protected volume.

Maintenances are done according to NFPA 25 and “NFPA Test and Maintenance, Inspection” document. Tests are done according to NFPA 2001, ISO 15004 (14520).

Usage Areas of CO2 System

  • In non-human areas where all fire loads of (A), (B), (C) and (E) classes,
  • In all energized open and covered areas in which there is no any human,
  • Marine Sector,

Novec Suppression System

Novec 1230 suppression systems; designed, sold, assembled and maintained; are imported from USA as FM approved and UL listed. They are under pressures of 25 bars. Welded cylinders have capacities of 20, 40, 60, 190, 276, 412 and 453 liters.

Advantage of Novec system, such as HFC-125, is that replacement of Halon 1301 systems requires no change of pipes, but only cylinder and nozzle.

Pressure losses of nitrogen pressurized system are being monitored via low pressure switches and manometer. The system is triggered (electrically-mechanically) automatically or manually.

Maintenances are done according to NFPA 25 and “NFPA Test and Maintenance, Inspection” document. Tests are done according to NFPA 2001, ISO 15004 (14520).

Argon (Inert) Suppression System

Systems; designed, sold, assembled and maintained by our company; are imported as FM, VdS, LPCB certified and UL Listed. They are under pressures of 200 or 300 bars. Seamless cylinders have capacities of 80 or 140 liters. Pressure losses that may occur in the system are monitored by a special manometer with cable being connected to a fire detection panel. The system is triggered (electronically-mechanically) automatically or manually. Dimensions of these vent covers, which are specific to the system, are established according to calculations. Then the vent covers are installed with the system.

Suppression System Inside Panel (Micro)

Micro Suppression Systems; which are designed, sold, assembled and maintained by our company; are imported as FM approved and UL listed or imported according to EN norms in case of a request. They are delivered as assembled with cylinders having capacities of 1, 2, 4, 6 liters.

RSS Suppression System

Except Argon, Nitrogen and Carbon dioxide gases in RSS suppression systems; all other suppression gases are imported as FM approved and UL Listed. Initial filling and refilling are done at the facility certified with TSE, Türk Loydu and tests are done at facility of REFLEKS YANGIN GUVENLIK SISTEMLERI A.S.

Cylinders; used for HFC-227ea, NOVEC, HFC-125 and working under pressures of 25 bars; are manufactured with TPED certificate REFLEKS A.S. with TPED certificate according to EN 13322-1 standard. Test pressure of these cylinders is 50 bars and blasting tests are done at 112.5 bars. Working pressure cylinders of 42 bars and more are imported as TPED certified.

Our DN25, DN33 and DN50 valves are used in HFC-227ea, NOVEC and HFC-125 gas suppression systems. They are certified by VdS.
The nozzles are certified by VdS and are processed in our facilities as ½”, 3/4″, 1 “, 1¼”, 1½ “and 2” diameters and drilled according to orifice diameters established via Hydraulic Calculation Programs that VdS or UL listed.

Check valves and connection hoses are manufactured at our facility. These systems are certified by VdS.
